Hey everybody, and Merry Christmas!
I just thought I’d make a post saying what I got for Christmas and what we did! First I’ll tell you some of our traditions.
The fist thing is: Brayden, Brentyn and I buy each other around 3 presents, and on Christmas Eve we do a gift exchange. For example, last Christmas Eve, Brentyn gave to Brayden, Brayden gave to me, and I gave to Brentyn! Our next tradition is we always make Christmas cookies, and of course, like all kids do, we leave some cookies and milk out for Santa Claus!! We also always go to Opry Mills Mall which has a Bass Pro Shop, and they always have a Santa Claus, and we always go! Thing is, this year,(because of covid), we didn’t go. They still had it, but it just wasn’t going to be normal! They had a plexi-glass screen between Santa and the kids! I mean the kids probably couldn’t even sit on Santa’s lap! And they only had one activity with someone watching over it and having to wipe everything down! I mean we couldn’t even color there, they had to send us home with a color sheet! I mean, like, seriously?!
That’s enough about our traditions, now I’ll tell you about some of the things I got for Christmas,(and I got a lot). As you know, I play guitar, so one of the things I got was a new music stand! I’ve also been wanting a Monopoly game for years, and not only did I get Monopoly, but it came with an automatic banker and cards instead of cash! Amazing, right? I haven’t told you about this yet, but just last year, before Christmas, we did a room swap and I got my own room! And because of that, I got some guitar room decor, like guitar hat hooks, and a guitar night light. I like to read a lot too, so I a lot of books! Here are some examples: Moby Dick, Robin Hood, and Treasure Island. I also got a guitar math game from Brayden, and a big 500 piece puzzle from Brentyn called Tiger’s Eden,(which my Mom and I solved together, and lots, lots more!
